About Me
I’m a fully qualified UESCA Ultra Running Coach, Training Peaks Accredited Coach, UK Athletics Off Road Leader in Running Fitness, and Leader in Running Fitness, and have a ITC Certificate in Outdoor First Aid SCQF Level 6. I have vast experience in Ultras and Mountain Races having completed highly technical and mountainous races ranging from the Swiss Peaks 380, UTMB, UTS 100 Mile 2023 & 2024, UTS 100km, UTS 50 Mile, Lakeland 50, Glen Coe Skyrace, Matterhorn Extreme Ultrak, LÉchappee Belle Integral, classic UK Fell Races such as Wasdale, Ennerdale etc, Mountain Marathons like the OMM, and have experience climbing mountains such as Mont Blanc, Mount Fuji and rock and winter climbing throughout Europe and in America.
In recent years I’ve been able to transfer my Ultra and Fell running experience to road races. After finishing 1st in my age category in a local trail Marathon I decided to pursue the goal of sub 3 hour which I achieved on my first attempt in Manchester. Following that I’ve had 2hr 50mins, 2hr 49mins, and a PB of 2hr 42mins and I have the ambition of breaking 2hr 40mins in 2025.
